For all those having problems with the calendar. Replace:

${execpi 60 JOUR=`date +%e`; cal | sed '1d' | sed 's/^/ /g' | sed /" $JOUR "/s/" $JOUR "/" "'${color 3273b5}'"$JOUR"'${color3}'" "/}

with

${execpi 60 JOUR=`date +%e`; cal | sed '1d' | sed 's/^/                    /g' | sed /" $JOUR "/s/" $JOUR "/" "'${color 3273b5}'"$JOUR"'${color3}'" "/}

Play with the space between "  's/^/ " and  " /g' "

While testing configs in terminal i get the following error output with draw_bg.lua:
Conky: llua_do_call: function conky_draw_bg execution failed: attempt to call a nil value
a little new to this. Any tips?

I moved everything...both in the lua and conkyrc scripts...and I could not for the life of me find how to move the calendar....where is that line?

I know you have answered this question before but I tried everything...even adding an offset line to see if it was missing...but nothing...calendar will resize the font but just cannot move position with any of the offsets

Sorry for my delay: the line is
${execpi 60 JOUR=`date +%e`; cal | sed '1d' | sed 's/^/ /g' | sed /" $JOUR "/s/" $JOUR "/" "'${color 3273b5}'"$JOUR"'${color3}'" "/}

It is in the file conkyrc0.

Everything is written in README. You may run a conky instance for every conkyrc. You may also specify the position of the files in the command. If I can do something to help you, tell me. [Sorry for the delay in response]

You must run all rc to obtain this conky visualization. Manually run them. Everything is written in the README.

nice configs!! but when i run it, the calendar is set over the clock!! I've edited the config too, because i don't need some widgets, but how i can flip things from the left to the right side?

Just play on variables:
${voffset -19}${offset 110}
Unfortunately, the position on the desktop depends on the resolution...

If I can help in other ways I'll be happy to do it. :)

ok I've set the rings and everything is ok, but i don't know how fix the calendar, because if I put ${offset 110} before his row, it affects only the first row of the calendar! From the second it is over the clock again!! Hellppppp please!!

Ok, the code is:

# ..: CLOCK & CALENDAR :..

#bar
${color d7d7d7}${offset 56}${voffset -1}${cpugraph cpu6 17,1}${voffset -3}${hr 2}${color3}
#hour and minutes
${voffset -19}${offset 110}${font neuropol:size=20}${time %H:%M}${font}
#uptime
${voffset -3}${font Nimbus Mono L:size=9}$uptime
#bar
${voffset -5}${offset 110}${cpubar cpu6 0, 200}${voffset 2}${color1}
#date
${font Nimbus Mono L:size=8 style=bold}${color2}${alignc} ${exec date +%B\ %Y | sed 's/^.\| [a-z]/\U&/g'}
#calendar
${offset 156}${color3}${execpi 60 JOUR=`date +%e`; cal | sed '1d' | sed 's/^/ /g' | sed /" $JOUR "/s/" $JOUR "/" "'${color 3273b5}'"$JOUR"'${color3}'" "/}

So, you must play on ALL voffset and offset values. I commented here, near each line, what element of your conky is affected from the values.

Obviously, if you want to change ring position, you must modify *.lua files.

P.S. I'm sorry for my bad english, but I'm italian... :D

ah, e ci sforziamo tutti e 2 a parlare in inglese quando siamo entrambi italiani?? Ahahaaahahahha!!

${execpi 60 JOUR=`date +%e`; cal | sed '1d' | sed 's/^/ /g' | sed /" $JOUR "/s/" $JOUR "/" "'${color 3273b5}'"$JOUR"'${color3}'" "/}

thank you for sharing. gorgeous conky that i can make go very well with my neon theme by fruit on mint 9 kde. when i was running ubuntu 10.04 i has this conky setup [link] but when i came to mint 9 kde and tried to use it i had problems getting the transparency to work correctly. hopefully yours won,t give me any trouble with transparency and if it does i thank you in advance for offering support through this post.

Excuse the delay! I've been away for a few days. It is because it uses a lua script to give transparency to the rings and to conky's background. Ubuntu uses generally compiz or emerald to manage transparency and graphical effects. What are you using? Xcompmgr? Cairo?
